Omnio AB is a private company founded in 2000 by a group of professors with a compelling entrepreneurial spirit to bring new health care products and tools to the market. Omnio AB focuses on development of health care products and provides contract research in the field of molecylar biology, protein chemistry and immunodiagnostics. It has expertise in developing robust assay for industrial and academic use that include ELIZAs.

Omnio AB also specializes in developing new intellectual property with its strategic acadmic collaborators to bring inovative productsto market place. It is the parent of two spin-off companies: Omnix in Russia specializing in diagnostic kit manufacturing and reagents development; and Omnio Healer, a Karolinska Development supported company, specializing in developing bioactive wound care products for cronic wounds and anti-infectives.
