AcureOmics AB was founded in 2007 and is devoted to personalised healthcare, biofluid profiling and systems biology including "omics" research. These fields hold enormous potential for enhancing the drug discovery and development processes in the pharmaceutical industry and opening up new possibilities for diagnostic approaches and personalized medicine in the healthcare field.

AcureOmics has several projects and collaborations to find novel indicators for various diseases. It is operating in the therapeutic area of autoimmune disease based on the announced collaborations. AcureOmics is actively seeking expand its operations into the development of point of care (POC) diagnostics of different disease states for personalised medicine, in particular predictive diagnostics or theranostics. To this end, they have found a number of biomarker candidates suitable for further study as valid diagnostic discriminators to predict disease risk.

The following services are provided by AcureOmics:

-Planning and performing metabonomics/metabolomics studies.
-Analysis of a wide range of samples with e.g. GC/MS, LC/MS, NMR and FT-IR/NIR.
-Multivariate data analysis and statistical modelling of the complex data structures that result from metabonomics/metabolomics studies.
